17.50.211 REIMBURSEMENT OF HIRED ABANDONED VEHICLE REMOVAL CHARGES (1) The sheriff of each county and the chief of police of each city shall designate one or more persons within their agencies as authorized representatives for the purpose of submission of claims for reimbursement of hired removal costs. (2) Upon hiring a hired vehicle remover, the authorized law enforcement agency representative may submit to the department a request for the reimbursement provided for in 75-10-503 , MCA, or may authorize the hired vehicle remover to submit directly to the department a claim for payment to be made directly to the hired vehicle remover.
