17.50.217 AUTHORIZED COUNTIES MAY SELL JUNK VEHICLES (1) A county, with written authorization from the department, may sell junk vehicles from the motor vehicle graveyard to licensed motor vehicle wrecking facilities. This requirement of written authorization applies to motor vehicle graveyards operated by a contractor in addition to motor vehicle graveyards operated by the county.
