17.50.220 COUNTY TO REPORT JUNK VEHICLE SALES TO THE DEPARTMENT (1) Within 30 days of a county junk vehicle sale, the county shall submit to the department a report of the junk vehicle sale, together with payment equal to the salvage value of each vehicle sold. Salvage value must be calculated in accordance with 75-10-534, MCA. Reports must be submitted on forms provided by the department and shall at a minimum include a description of each vehicle sold and the actual selling price of each vehicle.
