2.21.8021 FAILURE TO ACT (1) If the employee fails to respond within the timeframes established for a step, the grievance is considered resolved in favor of the last response given by management. The employee may not refile the grievance. (2) If management fails to respond within the timeframes established for a step, the grievant may proceed to the next appropriate step of the procedure.
