23.3.517 INSTRUCTION PERMITS (1) An applicant for a commercial motor vehicle endorsement issued an instruction permit under the provisions of section 61-5-106, MCA, may not operate a commercial motor vehicle unless accompanied by a driver possessing a commercial motor vehicle endorsement allowing him to operate the type of vehicle the applicant is operating.
