(1) Agency heads or their designee may request the court to excuse their employees from jury duty if those employees are needed for the proper operation of the agency. In view of this provision, all requests to excuse an employee from jury duty for this reason should cite 2-18-619 , MCA, and must be signed by the employee's department director or agency head.
